Overly convoluted and complex language or speech that is pompous.

A solution or remedy; for all difficulties or diseases.

A statement of the beliefs or aims which guide someone’s actions.

(especially of a group or area) having a great deal of money; wealthy.
“A friend of mine was of an affluent family, I remember the shock I was in the first time visiting his family home”.

Sign or give formal consent to (a treaty, contract, or agreement), making it officially valid.

A severe flood.

Surmise
Suppose it is true without having evidence to confirm it.
A supposition that may be true, even though there is no evidence to support it.
“His surmise led to his downfall; he was unable to see things through”.
Supposition
A belief held without proof or certain knowledge; an assumption or hypothesis.
“Fanatics held what could be seen as peculiar and irregular suppositions, in the early years of its religious foundations”.
Ossify
Turn into bone or bone tissue.
Become rigid or fixed in attitude or position; cease developing.
“Formalities have been extensively ossified within the framework of rights in America”.
Cavalcade
A formal procession of people walking, on horseback, or riding in vehicles.
Avarice
Extreme greed for wealth or material gain.
“The kleptocracy of the 21st century is among the worst cases of avarice to date. As far as I am aware”.
