Q

Management frame

A

Beacon: used by access points to let it known what is available to clients
Probe: ability for clients to request access points to provide info
Authentication/De-authentication: authenticate access or no longer allow access.
Association/disassociation/re-association:
action management: request radio measurement; request information about power levels

Q

Control Frames

A

ACK: acknowledgement of sending a data frame
Block ACK: acknowledge of a burst of frames
RTS/CTS: allow you to reserve a channel

Q

Phase

A
