Who was Konrad Lorenz?
An Austrian scientist who is known for his work in zoology, ethology and and ornithology with an emphasis on instinctive behavior in animals. He is best remembered for his study of imprinting in birds (the tendency of birds to identify the first being seen after birth as their “mother”) and for his work in ethology (study of ethics) that led to a shared Nobel prize in 1973.
Who was Jean Piaget?
Cognitive Psychologist; created a 4-stage theory of cognitive development, said that two basic processes work in tandem to achieve cognitive growth (assimilation and accommodation)
