A negative titer suggests the client is susceptible to rubella virus. Nurse should administer rubella immunization-following delivery.
What is the purpose of giving the Rho(D) immunoglobulin? What should be included in the teaching?
Prevents formation of RH antibodies in mothers who are RH negative. Rho prevents the immune system of an Rh-negative client from reacting to accidental exposure to the fatal blood during pregnancy/delivery.
