Inflammation of the skin. It is not contagious but can be very painful.
It is a form of eczema.

The cause of dermatitis.
A
Most commonly caused by irritants such as soaps and detergents, solventor regular contact with water.
It is mainly found on the hands of hairdressers.

How dermatitis can be treated.
A
Go to a pharmacist ; they can recommend various emollients (moisturisers) to help ease the dryness.
