Deck 1 Flashcards
Tit 2:11-12
For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live self-controlled, upright, and godly, in this present world.
2 Co 5:14-15
For the love of Christ controls us, having concluded this, that one died for all, therefore all died; and He died for all, so that those who live would no longer live for themselves, but for Him who died and was raised on their behalf.
Mat 22:37
‘YOU SHALL LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, AND WITH ALL YOUR SOUL, AND WITH ALL YOUR MIND.’
Rev 4:11
Worthy are You, our Lord and our God,
to receive glory and honor and power;
for You created all things,
and because of Your will they existed, and were created.
Col 1:16
For by Him all things were created, [both] in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities–all things have been created through Him and for Him.
Gen 1:27
God created man in His own image,
in the image of God He created him;
male and female He created them.
Gen 1:28
God blessed them;
and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it;
and rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”
Col 3:1-2
Therefore if you have been raised up with Christ,
KEEP SEEKING the things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God.
SET YOUR MIND ON the things above, not on the things that are on earth.
I’m angry because…
I don’t get what I want and things are not the way I think they should be!
Replace anger toward others with…
Compassion and self-examination.
Mat 22:39
The second is like it, ‘YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF.

Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself up for her
Eph 5:28-29
So husbands ought also to love their own wives as their own bodies. He who loves his own wife loves himself;
for no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as Christ also does the church.
Ps 119:37
Turn away my eyes from looking at vanity,
And revive me in Your ways.

The good man out of the good “storehouse” of his heart brings forth what is good;
and the evil man out of the evil “storehouse” of his heart brings forth what is evil;
for out of “that which fills his heart” his mouth speaks.
Ps 119:11
I have stored up your word in my heart,
that I might not sin against you.
