A
umbilical cord compression.

What is a variable deceleration?
A
decrease in HR and return to baseline with no relationshop to contractions

What is the cause of late decelerations?
A
fetal hypoxia

What is late deceleration?
A
decrease in HR after contraction started. no return to baseline until contraction ends

What are normal accelerations?
A
increase in HR of 15 or more beats per min above the HR baseline for longer than 15-20 secs. Happens twice in 20 mins.
