Guitar legend Eddie Van Halen passes away
Eddie Van Halen, the pioneering guitar player whose hard rock band band Helen emerged from the Sunset strip music scene in Los Angeles, USA in the early 1970s to stand at the top of rock ‘n’ roll Hall of fame for a decade, died of cancer in October 6, 2020 .
He was 65.
Bhanu Athaiya, India’s first Oscar winner passes away.
Costume designer Bhanu Athaiya, who became the first Indian to win an Oscar, is no more. She was 91 and died in October 2020 at her residence after prolonged illness. Athiya and Academy award in the Best Costume design category at the 1983 Oscars for her work and Richard Attenborough’s Gandhi.

Former Telangana home minister in member of legislative Council Nayani Narasimha Reddy died in the third week of October 2020 while undergoing treatment at a corporate hospital in Hyderabad. He served as MLA from Musheerabad assembly constituency thrice.
