Who is Eleri?
Eleri is a member of the Mountain Kingdom, his father is the prince of the Mountain Kingdom. Eleri is a small ‘oryctodromeus’ (an earthsinger in the old stories). Eleri aspired to become a storyteller, venturing through kingdoms to collect stories then telling them to the hatchlings. Eleri grew up in the Broken Ridge Herd.
What is special about Broken Ridge Herd?
They live in the underground warrens, spending majority of their life in tunnels.
Who is Agostron?
Agostron is Eleri’s older brother. Agostron is also a oryctodromeus, like his brother. Agostron was always the strongest, bravest and least hesitant (that is why Tortha reminded Eleri of Agostron so much). Agostron was heir to the throne.
How did Eleri get exiled?
On the Night when Eleri tried to escape to see the sauropods migration, Agostron found him and decided to follow him since everyone in the herd is his responsibility. They ended up crashing into a some Prairie hunting scouts, a pterosaur (Name in the old stories: skyprowler) that was about to attack one of the hunting scouts. Eleri called out a warning (Which was against the Laws of Noble Combat) out of instinct. Agostron told all of the members of their herd, that led to Eleri going to Mountain Court. In the Mountain Court everyone voted for Eleri to be exiled to the Deadlands except his father.
Who is Zyre?
zyre is a spy, she doesn’t work for any side, only for profit. Zyre is a ‘anurognathid’ and her name in the old stories is windwhisper.
Who is Tortha?
Tortha is a member of the Prairie Alliance. She is a ‘triceratops’ and her name in the old stories is moonchaser. She is the soldier, who was saved by Eleri. Tortha was going to be the heir to the throne of the Prairie Alliance but then she was exiled for not attacking Eleri. She lost her claim. Tortha was always the strongest, bravest and least hesitant. Tortha reminded Eleri of his brother Agostron.
How many kingdoms are there?
There are 3 kingdoms; The Mountain Kingdom, The Prairie Alliance and the Carrion Alliance. The Prairie Alliance and The Mountain Kingdom are currently at war. All the kingdoms are in area of Cretacea.
What effect the Fallen Star did have on Cretacea?
The fall of The Fallen Star down on Cretacea killed majority of dinosaur race and left the survivors with the ability to think, speak, dream and sadly also wage war.
What are Starflecks?
Starflecks are the form of currency in Cretacea. Starflecks are pieces of the Fallen Star that had been left behind when it smashed.
From what point of view is the story told?
Majority of the chapters are told from Eleri’s point of view but some of the chapters are told from Zyre’s point of view.
What is the connection between Eleri and Zyre?
Zyre was hired by a mysterious figure who goes by the name ‘Shadow’ to hunt down Eleri. After she found Eleri Zyre was meant to tell a group of raptors to kill him. For proof, Shadow wanted Zyre to bring back Eleri’s broken claw to prove that she had done it in return for 20 starflecks.
