What does the DDA stand for
Disability Discrimination Act
Purpose of the DDA
Ensures that disabled people have equal rights and opportunities in various areas such as employment and education. Gives disabled people the rights to take legal action against discrimination.
What is the Equality Act 2010
An act that seeks to get rid of discrimination and create equal opportunities. Services must make reasonable adjustments to accomodate individual needs
