What should you check prior to backing up your car?
Your mirrors, blind spot, and the area behind you. Check 360 degrees around your car.

Left hand at 12 o’clock. Turn the top of the wheel in the direction you want the rear of the car to go.

A two-point turnabout.
How do you perform a two-point turnabout?
Drive a little ways past a driveway on the right side of the road. Back into that driveway on the right; then you can pull out in the opposite direction.
