What is a position paper?
It shows people’s views and sentimental. It is also called as an argumentative paper

This type of argument is through classification.
Ex. A is B and B is C so, A is C
Argument from transivity
This argument is showing 2 contradicting choice.
Ex. A is something B cannot be so, A and B are incompatible

This is an argument that showcases same category that should be treated the same
Argument from reciprocity
This argument states 2 situations that will have the same outcomes because of their similarities
Ex. X= (A,B,C,D) and Y= (A,B,C, ?)

This argument has 1 member of the population to make conclusion.
Argument from generalization
This is an argument that states conclusion that are made about the entire population and it uses groups instead of an individual.

This is an argument that states results or outcome.
ex. A is caused by B

This argument uses a sign.
Ex. Indicator x to argue for the existence of condition y

This is an emotional appeal that uses an argument that ordinary people would use or support

This emotional appeal that uses a person to speak like an experts on a subject that he or she don’t fully know

This is an emotional appeal that uses labels to cast one’s opponent in a bad light
Name calling or ad hominem
This is an emotional appeal that creates a link between 1 thing or idea that people have negative or positive feelings about
