Definition of CAS
An air action performed by an A/C against hostile targets within close proximity of friendly forces and that requires detailed integration of each air mission with the fire and manoeuvre of those forces.
Definition Air interdiction
Delay, Divert, disrupt, distroy enemy military potential before it can be brought to bear effectively against friendly forces. Conducted at such a distance from friendly forces that detailed integration is not required.

What is an ETD?
