1 - Appreciate (verb)
He doesn’t appreciate his family.
A formal talk on a serious subject given to a group of people, especially students:
Lecture (noun)
=> Presentation, lesson
Who’s giving the lecture this afternoon?
(Of a place) with too many people or things in it
Overcrowded (adj)
=> The world market for telecommunications is already overcrowded with businesses.
To tell people something officially.
Announce (verb)
The government yesterday announced to the media plans to create a million new jobs.
Very wet
Dripping (with something) (adj)
=> His clothes were still dripping wet
The things that a person owns, especially those that can be carried
Belongings (noun)
I put a few personal belongings in a bag and left the house for the last time.
To fix something that is broken, damaged or torn
Repair (something) (verb)
=> The garage said the car was so old it wasn’t worth repairing.
To be in the right place or a suitable place:
Belong + adj/ prep (verb)
=> Where do these plates belong (= where are they kept)?
To cry or say something loudly and usually on a high note, especially because of strong emotions such as fear, excitement, or anger:
Scream (noun)
=> A spider landed on her pillow and she screamed.
In a way that is full of light, or shining:
Brightly (adv)
=> The stars were shining brightly.
