What is a consequence of configuring multiple ServerActive vaules in the Zabbix agent configuration?

Answer 1

The zabbix agent will consider these values as seperate Zabbix instances.

If the both the IP address and DNS (FQDN) is is provided, the Zabbix agent will send these metrics to each instance, which will result in duplicated values.

What time zone is used to collect data?

Answer 2

Data is collected using the local UNIXTIME.

• Passive checks are timestamped by the Zabbix server or proxy.
• Active checks are always timestamped by the Zabbix agent.
