Data Loader
-can be used via user interface or command line
1. User interface—Specify configuration parameters and CSV files used for import and export, and define field mappings that map field names in your import file to field names in Salesforce.
2. Command line (Windows only)—Specify the configuration, data sources, mappings, and actions in files. The command line enables you to set up Data Loader for automated processing.
-Up to 5 million records
-support for all objects, including custom
-does not give option to not fire Workflow rules
-does not offer ability to find duplicates

BackUp & Restore
-generates backup and quickly restores data in event of integration errors, malicious attempts, or incorrect data updates

Mass Transfer
-Accounts can be mass transferred – new user will own associated Contacts, open Opps, Contracts in Draft & In Approval Process status, Orders in Draft status, Notes, Attachments, and open Activities assigned to existing owner
-option to transfer associated open cases optionally selected
Data Export
-formula and roll-up summary fields are always excluded from exports
-large exports are broken up into multiple files
-schedule exports every 7 or 29 days
-only one that can export data ‘including’ attachments
Duplicate Rules
-can be configured on accounts, individual, contact, lead and custom objects
-all other standard objects, including opp and product, are not supported
-multiple duplicate rules can be active at the same time on same object
-multiple fields can be used in the matching rule
-action of block or allow is specified in duplicate rule
Matching by External ID
-available for any object that has External ID and can be imported via Data Import Wizard
-when option to match by External ID selected, DIW detects existing records in SF with external IDs that match values specified in import file
Running User for Dashboard
-running user can be changed on dashboard view page by authorized users
-running user’s security settings will determine data that is displayed
-user with “View All Data” permission can choose any user in the org to be a running user of the dashboard
-user with “View My Team’s Dashboards’” perm can choose any user below them in the role hierarchy
-if a user drills down into a source report, they will only see data they have access to and not the data that the running user can access
Dashboard Components
-possible to link from a dashboard component to another website or SF record by specifying the value of “Custom Link” in component’s settings
-source report chart can also be used in a dashboard component
-report can be added to new or existing dashboard from dropdown menu of report
-not possible to join two dashboard components together
-Lightning Table component can be used to display tabular info – up to 200 records and 10 columns can be displayed ; can only add up to 2 groups
-max of 20 dashboard components added to single dashboard
-can be charts, tables, gauges, metrics or other components created with Visualforce
-visual representation of data in a report
-smallest possible component is 1 row by 1 column
Dashboard Subscription
-more than one user can be added as an additional subscriber to a dashboard
-only users with access to the dashboard are shown in list of recipients available for subscription
-filters applied to dashboard not applied to emailed dashboard
-can be by user, group or by role
-to add other users to dashboard subscription, user must have specific “Subscribe to Dashboards: Add Recipients” perm granted via profile or perm set
Custom Report
-Product schedule fields
-History fields
-Age field on cases and opps
— all these fields can not be added to custom report types
Reporting Snapshots
-can be used with Tabular or Summary reports
Scheduling Reports
-data in report is determined by running user
-recipient of report must be SF users
-standard/custom can be scheduled
-frequency: daily, weekly, or monthly
Tabular
-simple list of records with selected columns and is similar to a spreadsheet
Summary
-used to group rows of data and allows for the display of subtotals
