Full TAKEOFF and LANDING CHECKLISTS shall be completed prior to:
the initial takeoff and landing
In regards to abbreviated landing checks, a “configuration change” is defined as:
A change to the landing gear position, parking brake setting, or nosewheel lock setting.
Abbreviated TAKEOFF checks:
NR switch
Center Instrument Panel
(visually scan PFD, EICAS, landing gear, electrical panel, and fire/fail lights)
Abbreviated LEVEL OFF checks:
RADALT
Center Instrument Panel
(visually scan PFD, EICAS, landing gear, electrical panel, and fire/fail lights)
Abbreviated 200-Foot checks:
NR
Wheels
Floats
Sliding Door
(if over water, the sliding door -should- be open when the floats are armed below 200’ AWL and below 40 KIAS)
“Good indications” during ENGINE RINSE procedure:
Ensure N1 of idled engine does not decrease more than 10 percent and TOT of idled engine decreases at least 25*C
If TOT does not rise sufficiently during FFD checks, a repeat check of the P3 valve is conducted by:
With heat OFF and TRNG switch to IDLE,
increase collective until TOT reaches 700* OR BLEED AIR LIGHT EXTINGUISHES
