Clearing the knee shield (using a wedge)

Right knee must be on top of inner left thigh
Anchor yourself to him using collar grip
Wedge goes below hamstring of leg making the knee shield and above thigh of bottom leg (preventing leg that would put you back in guard from moving)
Keep weight on him or he can just shrimp out
Take short choppy steps around
Don’t cross your right leg underneath or you’ll just get knocked over
Get weight back on him and your right arm over his other side to block his hips
