No; insurance payments are not allowed to reduce damages
(Example: P is hit by car and gets $20K from her own insurance company for hospital bills; she later sues driver who hit her for $100,000; she can recover entire $100,000, even though her own insurance already paid her $20k for her hospital bills.)
