laundry
A
at beginning of every shift check laundry and start if needed:
- 1 cup of detergent and fill bleach to line
- no more than 6 towels (don’t overload)
- clean lint trap before starting dryer
- sort and fold dry towels by size and condition
- microfiber cloths are only washed with microfiber cloths

foot baths
A
cleaned at least once a day with hose: - rinse out mat and base - squeeze out mat - put them back together - fill with diluted amine (ammonium chloride) (repeat as needed)

cleaning outside fridge
A
- rinse with hose
- use diluted dawn and scrubber
- rinse
- spray diluted Novalsan on fridge door and ice machine
- allow to sit for 10 min
- rinse

cleaning fridge shelves
A
- put all food on taller shelf
- remove shorter shelves
- use scrubbers and diluted dawn to clean
- rinse with hose and squeegee excess water
- return short shelf back and move food to short shelf
- remove tall shelf and repeat cleaning
- return shelf back
- only put buckets that have lettuce onto taller shelf

cleaning metal tins

- rinse
- use scrubber and diluted dawn sprayer and clean
- rinse
- spray tin with diluted vinegar spray and do not rinse
- check for scales and place on metal drying rack

- use scrubber and diluted dawn spray until clean
- rinse
- let dry
- put back into proper storage location

cleaning and storing scales

clean quickly
- remove top of scale and wash with diluted dawn
- rinse
- spray with diluted vinegar and place on rack to dry
- wipe down scale base using 99% alcohol gauze wipe
- return to shelving unit

cleaning cutting boards and knives
A
- rinse cutting boards with water
- use diluted dawn spray and scrubber
- rinse
- spray with diluted bleach and let sit for 10 minutes
- rinse
- store under counter in drying rack
(knives stores above counter on magnetic strip)

lettuce pull/ diet prep
A
- rinse all buckets that have been sitting in vinegar
- in separate container, weigh out the amount of each type of each type of lettuce (for each turtle at a time)
- rinse lettuce with cold water and put it in that turtle’s bucket for the next day
- do same thing for rehab lettuce
- place completed diet buckets into fridge and clean all supplies used
