The break down of something using weather or wind.

When an organism dies out and doesn’t exist anymore

a flat field next to a stream or river where food can grow.

a chart of what eats what in a line showing consumers and producers in a community.

Food web
a web like chart that shows what eats what in a community.

Fossil
The aged remains of bones of an animal or species that lived ages ago.

Geoligist
scientist that study the earth and how it was formed and whats on it.

Global warming
The warming of the Earth being provoked by burning fossil fuels and cutting down trees.

Greenhouse effect
the atmosphere making a planets surface hotter than it would be without an atmosphere.

Ground water
water that comes from the ground being stored away their by the water cycle.

Habitat
an area where different organisms thrive.

Humidity
The amount of water in the air

Hot spot
a spot where heat rises in a volcano causing it to erupt.

Hypothosis
A scientific theory about something unknown

Igneous rock
The cooled and solidified version of magma or lava.

Land form
rises and falls in the the Earths surface such as mountains, hills, and valleys.

Lava
a hot liquid that comes out a a volcano.
