A

Vína Originální Certifikace. A special designation, similar to French AOC or Austrian DAC systems in the Czech Republic. In order to display the VOC designation on the neck of the bottle, a producer must abide by certain criteria, including hand-harvesting, minimum must weights, low maximum yields and defined alcohol levels. VOC Znojmo (in Morava) was the first in 2009. Others in Morava followed:
