An action or event that actually causes what it points to; shows that something else exists, is true, or will happen

An efficacious and visible sign of God’s grace, instituted by Christ and entrusted to the church, by which divine life is dispensed to us
Sacrament
Making amends for something one did wrong that did harm to another person or led to loss
Reparation
For the Latin trinus, meaning “threefold” referring to the central mystery of the Christian faith that God exists as a communion of three distinct and interrelated Divine Persons: Father,Son, Holy Spirit. The doctrine of the Trinity is a mystery that is inaccessible to human reason alone and is known through Divine Revelations alone
Trinity
Effective; capable of having the desired result or effect; effective as a means, measure, or remedy
Efficacious
Belief that the three Persons of the blessed trinity - while distinct- are of one and the same substance. The father, son, and Holy Spirit possess exactly the same nature
Consubstantial
The trait of god that states that he is infinitely beyond all of his creation
Transcendence
The trait of god that states that he is intimately untied to his creation
