• CIA stands for Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability. This triad provides the scope for cybersecurity.
• Confidentiality ensures only authorized users and systems are able to both access and/or modify data. Encryption.
• Integrity ensures that data stored is not altered without proper permissions. Keeping data true to its form and unaltered.
• Availability deals with how the data is accessed. Data is ready to be accessed when it’s supposed to be available.
