what could cause a concealed haemorrhage
A
ruptured spleen fracture renal damage leaking aortic aneurysm ruptured ectopic pregnancy bleeding peptic ulcer

what are the two possible effects of haemorrhage
A
1) chronic, slow and persistent = Fe deficiency (anaemia)
2) acute, large loss = reduce circulatory volume = circulatory shock

definition and causes of circulatory shock
A
inadequate blood flow in body
- haemorrhage
- anaphylaxis
- cardiogenic (MI)
- hypoolumic (vomiting, diahorrea)

signs of shock
A
- low pulse pressure
- rapid,weak pulse
- rapid, shallow breathing
- nausea
- reduced urine output
- thirst
- clammy skin
- acidosis
- restlessness, anxiety, confusion, aggresion
- dereased coagulation tme and increased neutrophils
