Heart sounds: Pulmonary stenosis with tetralogy of fallot
severe sx; will have holosystolic murmur at LLSB and long systolic ejection murmur at ULSB with a thrill

small defects have a loud holosystolic murmur at LLSB
Heart sounds: hypoplastic left heart syndrome and order an echocardiogram
hyperdynamic precordium; single S2; nonspecific grade systolic ejection murmur along left sternal border

Sensitive (changes with child’s position or with respiration)
Short duration (not holosystolic)
Single (no associated chicks or gallops)
Small (murmur limited to a small area and nonradiating)
Soft (low amplitude)
Sweet (not harsh sounding)
Systolic (occurs during and is limited to systole)
