Cloudera - the CEO of Workday is on the Cloudera board, and they see the value of having a separate solution for goals/OKRs
Opera Solutions - performance management really painful in Workday. HR leadership constantly chasing people down to do their reviews. Also, COO was focused on transforming the business from a consulting to a solutions-based business model. Switching from Workday to BetterWorks enabled an ongoing, open and aligned goal management process that made it clear what the company’s vision was and how each employee was contributing.
GoPro - Transitioning from a hardware business to a media and software platform. Workday couldn’t drive the alignment and agility necessary to support that transformation.

Intuit
Intuit was managing the IT organization with huge painful spreadsheets - it was highly inefficient and silod way of managing people and goals. BetterWorks is helping them drive operational efficiency - they’ve seen a big uptick in employee communication, transparency - over 94% adoption and 74% of goals are aligned.
BMW
In a recent employee survey at BMW, lack of transparency was a major pain point with limited visibility into top company goals and what other teams were working on. Capturing goals in Excel and Google Docs limited the ability to align and communicate around goals. BMW uses BetterWorks in their Technology Innovation Group to improve communication, collaboration and employee engagement through increased transparency. Usually on premise
Walmart
Walmart struggled to clearly communicate the company goals through spreadsheets to all employees throughout the entire organization. After building and then killing their own internal tool, they decided to purchase BetterWorks for it’s ease of use and our consultative expertise on the OKR process. BetterWorks enables executives to clearly cascade top company goals, align their employees on achieving those goals and easily measure progress.
RMS
RMS has a relatively old-school culture - they needed to revamp their talent dev process to align to their shift to a new business model. Workday, excel and word docs were not giving them the agility they needed. BetterWorks allows RMS to make goals clear for employees, quickly communicate changes, and drive a much more frequent cadence to their talent dev process.
DisneyABC
DisneyABC struggled with an attrition rate of about ~40% of their millennial employees. After several years of failing to make SuccessFactors work, they needed a way to increase engagement by improving alignment and enabling their managers to give better feedback. Ben Sherwood, their President, chose BetterWorks to increase alignment, provide purpose to his employees, and enable continuous coaching from managers.
AOL
AOL was undergoing a lot of change and recently announced the acquisition by Verizon. They needed a way to drive a more open and transparent work culture through company-wide OKRs. They even decided to go enterprise wide all in one shot as they knew this was a huge morale boost for the organization. Bill Pence the CTO sees BetterWorks as a critical part of the new modern etnerprise software stack.
PwC
The PwC Google Alliance is a new, geographically dispersed organization that needed to drive results quickly. Additionally, their traditional performance process decreases engagement with their millennial workforce. BetterWorks helps them achieve operational excellence quickly and get alignment across a very georgraphically dispersed group.
Schneider Electric
Schneider-Electric had recently announced a large 5-year strategic program in the CIO organization but historically had no way of tracking and measuring contribution. Their typical quarterly business reviews were a huge admin burden. BetterWorks is providing the CIO the strategy deployment mechanism that he needs to drive the communication, visibility and accountability necessary to execute on the plan.
Cloudera
Cloudera saw the value in OKRs, but struggled for about a year to implement the process through PowerPoint, Excel, and Google Docs. In switching to BetterWorks to manage their OKR process they saved $520,000 for every 1,000 employees through increased efficiency and time savings. Additionally, the CEO of Workday is on the Cloudera board and they see the value of having a separate solution for goals/OKRs.
Airbnb
Airbnb was using Google Docs for their OKR process, but their high-growth coupled with a global workforce made it too difficult to manage. They selected BetterWorks to easily view progress and maintain alignment on top company priorities.
