What is the 30 second rule?
You have 30 seconds to acknowledge a customer
- Hi, how can I help you.
- (if busy) Hi, we will be right with you.
A customer asked for something that is not on the menu and mentions that an employee has made it for them before.
I am so sorry but this is against our policy.
Get a sup/manager if customer is still upset.
You are in the middle of a task that you cant stop and a customer walks up to order, what should you do?
