Steps in custom tray fab (wash)

A
  1. draw outlines
  2. fill in undercuts
  3. vaseline coat
  4. adapt triad over cast
  5. vent hole in palatal arch
  6. trim edges
  7. cure for 2 minutes
  8. remove and cure other side for 6 min
  9. square and bevel edges
  10. add handle and cure for 5 min

Procedure for spaced tray?

A
  1. no need to remove undercuts - spacer does this
  2. adapt baseplate wax to cast
  3. make 4x4 holes in lateral incisor and 1M
  4. adapt triad into holes
  5. adapt triad over cast, trim to wax spacer
  6. cure for 2 minutes
  7. remove wax and cure for 5 minutes
  8. handle and cure for 5 minutes
  9. smooth and bevel
