  2. Urea > 7
  3. Resp rate >30

What does the score of CURB-65 tell you?

A
  1. 0: low risk (less than 1% mortality risk)
    • Home treatment
    • Amoxicillin 500mg TDS
  2. 1 or 2: intermediate risk (1-10% mortality risk)
    • Admission
    • Amoxicillin + Clarithromycin 500mg BD
  3. 3 or 4: high risk (more than 10% mortality risk)
    • Admission
    • IV Co-amoxiclav
