A

- BP Systolic <90 OR Diastolic <60
- Age > 65

What does the score of CURB-65 tell you?
A

0: low risk (less than 1% mortality risk)
- Home treatment
- Amoxicillin 500mg TDS

1 or 2: intermediate risk (1-10% mortality risk)
- Admission
- Amoxicillin + Clarithromycin 500mg BD

3 or 4: high risk (more than 10% mortality risk)
- Admission
- IV Co-amoxiclav
