Interplay of language
The ways in which two or more things, group, etc., affect each other when they happen or exist together
Contextual clues
Hints found within a sentence, paragraph, or passage that a reader can use to understand the meaning of new or unfamiliar words
Semantic ambiguities
A linguistic expression that can have multiple senses, at least when uttered out of context
Low context/high context
Implies that a lot of information is exchanged explicitly through the message itself and rarely is anything implicit or hidden / Don’t using a lot of verbally explicit communication and have strong boundaries that define “outsiders” to a group
