2 times a second
AIN of median nerve mucles.
Flexor pollicis longus (fpl) Flexor digitorum profundus (FDP 1&2) Pronator Quadratus (PQ)
Repetitive nerve stim decrement is positive with what decrement all response
10%
10 seconds of exercise.
1 min exercise
Greater decrement
G
Presynaptic nmj disease
Lambert eaton Likely to have decreased amplitude compared to myesthinea gravis
Myesthinea gravis is less sx when?
In cold because acetalcholinesterase is less active in cold ???
Does pin have sensory sx?
No. Extensors radial
Slowest voluntary motor unit.
4-5 hz
What is the most common HIV Peripheral neuropathy?
Distal symmetric polyneuropathy: this is the most common type of neuropathy and HIV. It primarily affects sensory and autonomic fibers, with motor disruption occurring in advanced cases. Painful paresthesias beginning in the toes follow by the fingers and advance proximally up extremities.
Describe endoneurium
Connective tissue that surrounds each individual axon and it’s myelin sheath.
Tarsal tunnel.
Tibial nerve under flexor retinaculum behind medial malleolus.
Study mixed medial and lateral plantar nerves.
Myotonic discharges
Wax and wane in frequency and amplitude.
May have initial down deflection or fire between 20-100 hz.
