Three different types of values that you can use to specify colors in CSS are: one of 127 common color names such as DarkCyan, rgb/rgba(red,green,blue) replacing red, green, and blue with values between 0 and 255, and hex values which is 6 digits after a pound (#c85051). The hex values are conversions of red, green, and blue into 2 digits each with c8 corresponding to a value between 0 and 255 for red, 50 corresponding to a value between 0 and 255 for green, etc.
