It is removed from normal document flow entirely.

It’s positioned next to its nearest parent ancestor.
How do you constrain an absolutely positioned element to a containing block?
Using position: relative.

Percentages change based on the screen size.
If you introduce CSS rules for a smaller min-width after the styles for a larger min-width in your style sheet, the CSS rules for the smaller min-width will “win”. Why is that?
Because of source order.
