How is occlusion checked and adjusted when trying in a crown?
- Shim stock and check new crown has a contact
- Check reference holding contacts are reproducible from earlier
- Use articulating paper to mark-up crown
- Adjust crown contacts until reference contacts are reproduced
- When ICP is correct move onto dynamic occlusion - lateral excursions and protrusion

What material crown type should phosphoric acid never be used on and why?
Non-precious metals
Dramatically reduces tensile bond strength
Why does a primer have to be used before bonding a precious metal crown?
Don’t have an oxide layer to easily bond to
Sulfur group of VBATDT (panavia alloy primer) in alloy primers bond to precious metal
How is panavia opaque used when placing a crown?
NOT dual cure
Remove excess
Apply oxyguard
Wait 3 minutes for chemical cure
