No local Minimal pain and scarring Simple and quick Multiple lesions at once Infections rare Cheap No suture Better outcomes for lighter skin

Disadvantages to cryo
A
Darker skin due to pigment change that occurs
Not recommended for anywhere with hair growth- freezing will affect growth
Susceptible to sunburn

A
Actinic keratosis-full thickness freeze
Basal cell- full thickness, double freeze
Bowen’s disease,cervical neoplasia, squamous cell
Verrucae
Nevi
Hemorrhoids
Freckles

Reaction to cryo previously
Malignant melanoma
Possible skin pigment changes
Compromised circulation
