Q

Why did Cromwell want to execute King Charles

A

apparently,
God witnessed against Charles in battle during the First Civil War. Instead of
accepting the will of God the king went against, by trying to resume the civil war.
Cromwell also found that if King Charles was dead, it would be easy and quicker for
him to get into power of England.
