Cromwell was a puritan who worked as a English
statesman, a politician, and a Soldier.
What was Oliver most known for
Oliver Cromwell was best known for being Lord Protector of the Commonwealth of England, Scotland and Ireland after the
defeat of King Charles I in the Civil War.
When did Cromwell bring his army to Ireland and why
In 1649 Cromwell brought his army to Ireland to crush all Irish rebellions and to
reward anyone who had supported the parliament.

Why did Cromwell want to execute King Charles
apparently,
God witnessed against Charles in battle during the First Civil War. Instead of
accepting the will of God the king went against, by trying to resume the civil war.
Cromwell also found that if King Charles was dead, it would be easy and quicker for
him to get into power of England.
