the identification of any type of recurrent pattern, such as repetition or word plays, which contributes to the persuasive nature of the next.
Canonical Criticism
emphasizes the final form of a biblical book and how it has been interpreted as authoritative
Reader Response Criticism
emphasizes the constructed meaning by the reader
Feminist Criticism
emphasizes the perspectives and experiences of women
Postcolonial Criticism
pays attention to issues of imperial power in the text and its interpretation history
