What does a precedence or dependence table show?
Which activities must be completed before others are started
What are the 3 main characteristics of a dummy activity?
- takes no time
- doesn’t cost anything
- purpose is to show dependencies between activities
What are the weights of activities representing?
The duration of such activities
What is a critical activity?
If an increase in said activity leads to an overall increase in the duration of the whole project
What is a critical path?
The longest path contained in the network - made entirely of critical activities
Where does EET = LET?
At a node on the critical path
What is the float of an activity?
The amount of time it can be delayed
What is the formula of total float?
LFT - Duration - EST
