D’s first appearance in court, particularly if D pleads guilty

Trial is heard and decided at the magistrates

After he has been interviewed and charged at the police station.
Conditions may be attached eg. Surrender passport

Granted under the bail act 1976. Section 4 give a general right that everyone will get bail, but this may be refused is they could reoffend for example
