s4 BAil Act 1976 - Issued by police or court, can be refused. Some conditions are residing at an address, no contact with some people, surrender passport, report to station at certain times
Magistrates
part time, unsalaried judge.
Juries
drawn from the electorate and decide the guilt of offenders in the Crown Court
Barristers
self employed advocates who practice out of chambers, sharing administrative staff. Their work includes being briefed by a solicitor on behalf of a client or approached directly in certain civil matters
Solicitors
Acting as first contact with clients needing legal advice, acting as advocates for clients in the lower courts generally, legal advice on a range of special areas
Legal executives
Acting as first contact with clients needing legal advice in straightforward cases, giving legal advice to clients on a range of specialist areas, handling legal aspects of a property transfer

Regulation

If dispute between client and lawyer cannot be resolved by themselves or relevant regulatory body, then the case will be referred to LO
