Burglary
Taking of property from inside the premise (or vault) by entering or leaving the premise unlawfully as evidenced by marks of forcible entry or exit. Occurs after hours
Robbery
Taking of property from a person by causing or threatening to cause that person bodily harm or by committing an obviously unlawful act.
Theft
Any act of stealing, including robbery, burglary, embezzlement, forgery, etc.
Mysterious Disappearance
Disappearance of property without any possibility of determining the cause of disappearance.
Messenger
Is the insured, or any employees or family members while having care and custody of property OUTSIDE the premise
Custodian
Is the insured, while having care and custody of property INSIDE the premise except for a person while acting as a watch-person
Guard/Watch-person
Person hired specifically to have care and custody of property INSIDE the premise and who has no other duties
Crime Coverage
Written as apart of the CPP or separately. Covers employee theft, forgery alteration, theft of money inside premise, robbery inside premise, computer fraud, and counterfeit paper currency.
Employee Theft
Insuring agreement covers loss of or damage to money, securities and other property resulting from theft committed by an employee.
Name Schedule
Coverage applies to employees named in Dec Page.
Position Schedule
Applies to certain job positions specified in the Dec Page. Covers losses caused by employees written in the Dec Page.
