Crémant de Bourgogne
A
- a sparkling wine, typically made from Chardonnay (now the most used variety for Crémant de
Bourgogne) and Pinot Noir, with up to 20 per cent of Gamay also being allowed. It accounts for about 10 per cent of wines
produced in Burgundy. - The wines come in a range of styles. Most are white wines made in a Brut style with medium (+) acidity. They range from lightly
fruity to richly toasty. The medium intensity fruit ranges from green apple and lemon (cooler areas) to apricot (warmer areas), with
brioche autolytic notes. In addition to the standard white sparkling wines, Blanc de Blancs, Blanc de Noirs and rosé are made.

for whites: Pinot Noir and Chardonnay only
