Signature by Mark - Requirements
A
Witness statement that needs to appear on the document and both witnesess must also sign the document. One witness must witness the signer and write their name next to MARK
It is not required to have the Witnesses sign the journal entry DO IT ANYWAYS!!!

Single Witness
A
is used for a notarization if the Notary Public personally knows the credible witness.

Two Witnesses
A
Used when they are unknown to the Notary Public

Qualifications
A
- Must be 18 years of Age
- Must not be named in nor benefit from the document being signed
- Valid and Current ID
- An oath may be required of a credible witness.

No or Expired ID of Signer = Requirements
A
to present their ID to the Notary public / enter information in journal and SIGN.
Swear an oath they know the signer and include in oath the fac that the signer does not have ID and they understand it would not be possible to obtain in the future.
