movements in reverse if you are facing
the group. Have stopping signal
2.Use poly spots or lines on the floor for
student placement
3.Use verbal cues-may use counts but
word cues are good, not alway rt. or lt.
but instead go this way then that way.
4.Explain and Demo. w/out music first
and then add music, break the dance
down into small sections, start easier and
then add challenges
5.music with a strong slower beat- get
faster as you progress and mirrors are
not advised

questions and change partners
throughout the lesson
