Explain “non-overlapping magisteria”
View of Stephen J. Gould, advocates that science & religion represent fact vs values. Religion cannot dictate factual conclusions within the magisterium of science, whilst science cannot claim higher insight into moral truth.
How can random chance create complex objects?
Cumulative selection - complex structures evolve bit by bit. Intermediate structures still being useful, as long as they have better designs than other organisms around at that time.

Biblical literalism (Earth is not 4.5b years old, events of the bible are historical fact etc), intelligent design not evolution by natural selection.
Darwin’s evidence for evolution includes..?
Anatomy (organisms share similarities), embryology (vertebrate embryos share similarities), palaeontology (fossils progressively different w/ deeper strata) and biogeography (finches on galapagos islands all similar despite different locations/lifestyles).
