Where can you progress harmonically from the tonic or tonic chords?
A
To any chord.

Where to progress from a dominant chord?
A
Easiest to a tonic chord, primarily Tonic. Movement to the Sub-Mediant is more rare.

A
Primarily to dominant chords, but tonic chords work also.
