What is the olfactory nerve involved with?
Describe clinical dysfunction and evaluation.
The olfactory nerve is involved with the conscious perception of smell.
Clinical dysfunction - hyposmia or anosmia (difficult to detect) and inappetance.
Clinical evaluation - response of animal to aromatic substance whilst blindfolded.
What is the optic nerve involved with.
The optic nerve is very important for sight and the entire visual pathway.
