sensory- skin of face, nasal cavity, oral cavity, anterior 2/3 of tongue
Motor- muscles of mastication (chewing)

Abducens nerve - motor, eye muscles (abducts eyes)
CNVII
Facial nerve -
Sensory- taste (anterior 2/3 tongue)
Motor- facial muscles, lacrimal glands (tear ducts)
CNVIII
Vestibulocochlear nerve- sensory - hearing and balance in ear (vestibular system)
CNIX
Glossopharyngeal nerve -
Sensory- pharynx, taste post 1/3 tongue
Motor- throat muscles
CNX
Vagus nerve
Sensory- visceral of respiratory tract, taste of epiglottis
Motor- muscles of palate, heart, and other viscera
CNXI
Accessory nerve - motor to Sternocleidomastoid and trapezius
CNXII
Hypoglossal nerve - motor to intrinsic muscles of tongue and throat
Lesion on CNI
Loss of smell
Lesion on CNII
Dilated pupil, vision problems
Lesion on CNIII
Dilated pupil, eye turns down and out
Lesion on CNIV
Unable to look down when eye is abducted
Lesion on CNV
Loss of muscles of mastication on the side of the lesion
Lesion on CNVI
Unable to move eye laterally
Lesion on CNVII
Unable to wrinkle forehead, loss of taste on anterior 2/3 of tongue
Lesion on CNVIII
Unilateral hearing loss
Lesion on CNIX
Loss of taste on posterior 1/3 of tongue

Deviation of uvula away from affected side
