Sensory:
Superficial
V1 - skin of the upper eyelids
the cornea
all the conjunctiva
V2 - skin of lower eyelids
skin of over maxilla
skin of the ala of the
nose
skin/mucosa of upper lid
V3 - skin over mandible
Deep
just the deep bits of all the area covered too
however this needs to be said
V3 - sensory of anterior 2/3rds of tongue - not to be confused with taste of anterior 2/3rds of tongue (CN VII)
Motor:
CN V3 supplies the muscles of mastication - masseter, temporalis, medial pterygoid, lateral pterygoid

Controls :Lateral rectus

Facial nerve?
Taste - anterior 2/3rds of tongue (sensory)
Facial movement (motor)
Lacrimation and salivation

Vestibulocochlear nerve?
Hearing and balance
vestibular part supplies vestibular system
cochlear part supplies cochlea
(Sensory)
Glossopharyngeal nerve?
Sensory - oropharynx, carotid body and sinus, posterior 1/3 of the tongue, middle ear cavity and Eustachian tube
Special sensory - taste sensation to the posterior 1/3 of the tongue
Parasympathetic - parasympathetic innervation to the parotid gland
Motor - stylopharyngeus muscle of the pharynx

Vagus nerve?
- Somatic sensation - external acoustic meatus
Somatic motor - palate, pharynx, larynx (phonation and swallowing)
Special sensation - epiglottis (taste)
Visceral sensation - thorax/abdomen
Visceral motor (parasympathetic) - thorax/abdomen

Accessory nerve?
head and shoulder movement (sternocleidomastoid and trapezius)
Motor
Hypoglossal nerve?
Tongue movement
muscles of the tongue, except palatoglossus - thats CN X
